I think I have Dyslexia?

Generally someone who is dyslexic are horrible readers and writers right? Well, I can read and write averagely, I think, but I am almost sure I have dyslexia. I'm 16 years old and have never been confronted about it by teachers or anything but I shy away from reading aloud in cl because a lot of the time I jumble the words and have trouble with words I've never seen before. Extremely often I read things like 3 as 8 or was as saw. I'm too embared to ask my parents to get an eye appointment because I've been to the eye doctor before about my headaches and they never noticed anything to do with dyslexia (that I know of). Suggestions?
