Homecoming Dress Ideas?

I know school doesn't start yet, but i want to get a good idea of what I'm going to wear to Homecoming and stuff before everything is sold out. So, do you have any ideas for dress, hair, shoes, and makeup ideas? I have a little past shoulder-length brown hair, big blue eyes, and I'm kinda short. Thanks for answers!
