Are I-Mei french cookies vegetarian?

We recently received a big box of I-mei french cookies, and I, being vegetarian, glanced at the ingredients, which included the word gelatine. But it doesn't seem like they would put gelatin in cookies. Is it vegetable grade? Please tell me...those cookies look so appetizing!
